Top junior golfer Naomi Wafula is the winner of this year’s Kingsway Tyres Junior Matchplay qualifying winner.

The 17-year old international player, playing off handicap 2 posted a score of 154 gross (80, 74) to with the 36-hole competition at the par 72 Sigona Golf Club today.

Agnes Nyakio was the runner-up on 164 gross (84, 80), while recently crowned Junior Strokeplay champions Mutahi Kabugu of Muthaiga tied in the third position with Serah Khanye on 167 gross. Kabugu played 85 gross in the first round and 82 gross in the second gross, while Khanye played 84 and 83gross in the first and second rounds respectively.
