Golf Park’s David Wakhu, Railway’s Njuguna Ngugi and Thika’s Simon Ngige were inseparable after the second round of this year’s Jamii Telecom PGK Masters at the par 71 Muthaiga Golf Club as they shared an over night lead, all on two under par 140.

Ngige posted the best score of the day, a three under par 68 score but his first round score of one over par 72 meant that he could only share the lead with Wakhu and Ngugi who posted identical scores of one under par 70 in both the first and second rounds.

Muthaiga’s Nicholas Rokoine and Golf Park’s Tony Omuli are hot on the leaders heels, trailing the trio by a single shot. Rokoine returned scores of 73 and 68, while Omuli returned scores of 72, 69.

Mumias’ Dismas Indiza is placed sixth on level par 142 (73, 69), while Greg Snow, Anil Shah and Brian Njoroge are tied seventh on two over par 144.
