Long hitting Dismas Indiza moved to the top of the leader board as the KCB Golf Tour second leg entered its half way mark at Royal Nairobi Golf Club today.

The Mumias Sugar Golf Club professional, fired his second two under par 70 for a two rounds total of four under par 140. He picked up four birdies at the front nine against three bogeys, then made a double-bogey at the par four-12thhole but birdied the 13th, 14thand 15ththereafter. “The greens were abit better today compared to the first round, though I made some few bad putts’’ said Indiza who was joined at the top by Nyanza Golf Club’s David Odhiambo who also shot two under par 70 for 140. His round included three birdies and a single bogey at the third hole. Vet Lab’s Brian Njoroge was just a shot off the leaders also after firing one under par 70. He birdied twice at the out ward nine and a similar number of birdies at the back nine where he however dropped two shots at the 11thand 16th. Staying closely to the leaders was Muthaiga’s Nicholas Rokoine despite a 73 in the second round for 143, after picking up a double bogey seven at the par five-second and two other bogeys at the back nine. Sigona’s Mathew Omondi also made his move to the top with a two under par 70 for 144. The top 20 players who made the seven over par second round cut will begin the real chase for the top prize of Sh192,000 in the one million shillings event.
