It could have taken them six years to end the dominance of Muthaiga Golf Club, but winning the The winners of the 90th Tannahill Shield on home soil was a sweet and memorable feat.

Taking the challenge to the defending champions and arch rivals, Muthaiga, Royal led from the start, and closed off all challengers with 12 points on the last day for a total of 49 points.

Muthaiga only managed 4 points on the final day thanks to Bhavnish and Neer Chandaria who won both their matches against Western and Sigona to finish second on 39 points.
Karen’s manager, Fred Lobo steered his side to third place on 34 points, one ahead of Sigona – who were joint holders of the 2013 Tannahill Shield, this time Sigona settled for fourth spot on 33 points.
Western Kenya were firing on all cylinders and came from scoring only one point on day one, to pick 12 points on the final day, ending the competition tied fifth with Limuru on 32 points.
