Windsor’s resident professional Riz Charania resisted stiff challenge to emerge the winner of the KCB Golf Tour leg in Nakuru on Saturday, to increase his Order of Merit points ahead of the grand finale set for the Nyali Golf and Country Club in August.

Charania who also doubles up as the Professional Golfers of Kenya (PGK) chairman, recovered from a poor first round performance to win the three round competition on three under par 216 (73, 68, 75) at the par 73 Nakuru Golf Club.

Muthaiga’s Nicholas Rokoine finished second on two under par 217 (74, 69, 74), while home player Richard Ainley was third on level par 218 (74, 72, 72).

The tournament, which was the second last in the tour saw a number of pros skip it as they preferred different international tournaments. They included Thika’s Simon Ngige and Vet Lab’s Brian Njoroge who played at the Nigeria Open at the same time and Royal’s Anil Shah who played at the Zambia Open. pandora pulseras abalorios pandora pulseras abalorios
