Royal Nairobi member, Dr Dilip Shah playing off 19 handicap, carded 42 stableford points to be the overall winner of the I&M Bank corporate golf day held over the weekend at Muthaiga Golf Club.

He had no difficulty on the fast paced greens, signing for 25 points on the challenging first nine returning with 17 points on the second. Shah was four shots better than 12-handicap Ken Wamae, the men’s winner on 38 points who scored 23 points on the second nine and 15 points on the first nine. Wamae beat Sigona’s Vinay Shah on countback, who took runner-up place. Fellow club member, Buty Nandu was third on his own with 37 points, whilst a four-way countback decided fourth position and was won by Kennedy Anunda with 35 points.

It was a good day for Royal Nairobi members, with Rose Mambo emerging the lady winner on 35 points, beating home club member, Meera Shah by three points. Archana Sangar was third with 31 points.

Hon Kanini Kega’s 306 yards drive on hole 7 was good enough for the Longest Drive, with Nas Kiengo taking the ladies prize. Nearest the pin winner, Jesse Mwangi missed his 2.5 metre putt on Hole 13 for a share of the Titliest Prov-V1 complimentary ballpool as did Rozie Wainaina, the lady winner. The staff prize went to Joe Wainaina. air max 97 air max 97
