The KCB Group has sponsored four professional golfers of Kenya to the forth-coming Kenya Open tournament to be played from 8th to 12th April at the Karen Golf club.

The Four Pros include John Wangai who is the Professional Golfers of Kenya captain and resident Pro at Sigona Golf club, David Wakhu resident Pro Royal Nairobi, Brian Njoroge resident Pro Vet lab and David Odhiambo resident Pro Nyanza Golf club.

While handing over a Cheque of KES 600,000 at the Bank’s headquarters in Kencom, KCB Head of Corporate and Regulatory affairs Judith Sidi Odhiambo applauded the four golfers for playing well in last year’s KCB Pro-Am series and making the cut to this year’s Kenya open through KCB sponsorship. The sponsorship will cater for the Pros caddies fee, tournament registration and up keep during the duration of the Kenya open tournament.

“KCB Group is pleased to continue its support of the Professional Golfers of Kenya, we look forward to a very engaging Kenya open tournament that gives our professionals the international exposure they require” she said.

22 Professional golfers who made the cut to the Kenya open tournament through the KCB sponsored Pro-Am tour played last year will represent Kenya.

Speaking during the event PGK captain John Wangai said that the Pros are well prepared to tackle the Karen fairways and they have been practicing through out the month.

“We have been playing at Karen and in our home clubs and we are ready to take up the challenge that Kenya open will bring,” Said Wangai. cheap air max 2017 cheap air max 2017
