Makini Primary School student Naomi Wafula will be part of the national women golf team to represent the country at this year’s All Africa Challenge Trophy set to be held in Botswana from June 2.

Wafula was named in the team after she claimed the Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) title on 74 gross at the par 72 Windsor Golf and Country Club on Saturday.

This time the team will comprise of only three members unlike last time when they were seven. Apart from Wafula, the others are South African based Bavi Shah and Limuru’s Jane Njoroge.

This is the second the youngster has been considered for national duty and she expects to help Kenya retain the coveted title. joyasopulseranline joyasopulseranline
