Malindi Golf Club is one of four courses at the coast which club captain Harry Mwimali says could do with a lot more corporate sponsorship.
“The Malindi Golf and Country Club is a joy to play in. However, our greatest challenge here at the coast is that we are is in dire need of sponsorships. Therefore we welcome EABL’s move to support us, “says captain Mwimali.
EABL have come on board to sponsor and sustain the 18th hole for the next one year and they are confident that this will give way for more sponsorship. The Carnival has embraced the popular international format of “The Four Ball Better Ball” in this leg’s tournaments which auger well with Tusker Malt’s warm spirit of comradeship and bonding.
Meanwhile, the 12th leg of the carnival now moves to Nyali Golf Club over the weekend where golfers will resume playing in the Four Ball Better Ball format.
Kenyan Golf Clubs have gained prominence as golf tourism destinations and a round of golf in Nyali being set among the palms and casuarinas with the striking view of the sapphire Indian Ocean in an appealing nature walk.
From Nyali, the carnival heads to Thika Sports Club on February 18 before going to Karen Country Club and the Royal Nairobi Golf Club on March 3 and 8 respectively. The Grand Finale of the Tusker Malt Carnival will be held in April 2011 at the Muthaiga Golf club where the winning pair from the carnival is expected to win an overseas golf trip.
The carnival is scheduled to visit 30 golf clubs and engage some 5, 000 golfers from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda in a regional tour aimed at promoting bonding and friendship, the brand value of Tusker Malt Lager. michael kors bolsos rebajas michael kors bolsos rebajas
