Nyali’s Daniel Nduva reigned supreme to clinch this year’s Kenya Junior Strokeplay Championships that ended today at the par 71 Muthaiga Golf Club.

Nduva managed a total gross score of 303 gross after the four rounds to rule the roast and add another silverware in his successful season.

In the first round he scored 73 gross, before picking 84 gross in the second round, but recovered with 72 gross in the third round before sealing his famous victory with 74 gross in the fourth round, beating pre tournament favourite Naomi Wafula and others.

Wafula of Golf Park and Mathew Wahome tied in the second position with a total of 313 gross. Wafula’s rounds were made up of 78, 76, 76, 83 and Wahome played rounds of 81, 77, 74, 81. huarache2018pascher huarache2018pascher

Hard hitting Dismas Indiza found himself hit hard when he failed to make the cut for the first time in his career after the second round of the on going KCB Tour’s Grand Finale at the par 71 Nyali Golf and Country Club.

It was indeed a big surprise for the Mumias golfer, given that he had a mathematical chance of retaining the Order of Merit title that he won last year.

Thursday’s round saw 25 pros fail to make the cut which stood at +13 (155). Indiza played 15 over after the two rounds, missing the cut by two shots.
“Its really painful. I have never missed a cut since I joined professional ranks,” said Indiza.
