After visiting 15 golf clubs across Kenya and hosting over 2,900 amateur golfers from 35 golf clubs, the Tusker Malt Golf Carnival concludes tomorrow at the Muthaiga Golf Club.

According to Wanyi Mwaura, the Tusker Brand Manager, the Tusker Malt Golf Carnival Grand Finale will include 140 qualifiers and 50 Tusker Malt Lager guests. “This is it, after eight months of competition, the Carnival will conclude this weekend at Muthaiga. It has been an exciting journey; a journey that has taken Tusker Malt across the country to some of the best golf courses in Kenya,” Mwaura said. “The Carnival has been hugely successful, we have witnessed some superb golf and the comradeship at the 19th hole, fueled by Tusker Malt has been legendary.”
The Tusker Malt Golf Carnival was played in the now popular Four-Ball Better-Ball format. “This year we decided to introduce the four-ball better-ball format, a format that encourages team work and bonding amongst the competing pairs,” Mwaura added. “We would like to thank the golf clubs for embracing this new format and I can assure you that the Tusker Malt team will come up with an even more interesting format in the future.”
The Carnival kicked off at the Railway Golf Club in September 2011 before moving east to the Machakos Golf Club and then North to the Njoro Country Club. In November, the Carnival moved to the nine-hole Kiambu Golf Club before returning North to Eldoret and then West to the Nyanza Golf Club. The Limuru Country Club hosted the Carnival in December. Muthaiga Golf Club and Sigona Golf Club held their qualification round in January 2012 whilst Vet Lab Sports Club, Nyali and Thika Sports Club had their taste of the Carnival in February. the Karen Country Club and the Royal Nairobi Golf Club held thei qualification rounds in March 2012. “We also visited the Malindi Golf Club in February, a first for the Tusker Malt Golf Carnival and we will include that beautiful golf club in the series in the new season,” Mwaura commented. “Although it is not possible to visit each and every club in Kenya, the Carnival has been successful in ensuring all Kenyan golfers participate.”
The winning team from the Tusker Malt Lager Golf Carnival will win a VIP golf trip to South Africa. “Our winners will enjoy a golf trip to South Africa where they will play in some of the top golf clubs in Johannesburg,” Mwaura said. “They will also receive top class golf instruction from teaching professionals at the Vodacom World of Golf in Sandton and hopefully that will make them even better golfers.” nike air max 90 mujer nike air max 90 mujer
